We Do Construction is a design-build practice: one team carrying a project from first sketch through final construction. Architects, designers, and builders working under a single roof, accountable to one standard.
The work is considered — hillside lots and historic homes, kitchens and full-home renovations resolved with the same care we would give our own. Clear scope, honest budgets, permit-ready plans. The result is a home authored, not assembled.

Jacob Bachar
Jacob Bachar founded We Do Construction in 2022, bringing more than a decade of his own custom, architecture-led building in San Francisco to the practice’s standard: one team, from concept through construction.
The Bay Area work — hillside lots, historic homes, the discipline of design-build — is the foundation of the practice today — the same considered, principal-led projects, authored for homeowners across San Francisco, Marin, and the East Bay.
Licensed, bonded and insured
We Do Construction Inc. builds under California contractor license CSLB #1096552 — B General Building and C-36 Plumbing, issued 2022, current and active. Verify at cslb.ca.gov. We carry a $25,000 contractor’s surety bond through Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company, workers’ compensation through State Compensation Insurance Fund, and general liability insurance. Founded in 2022 by Jacob Bachar, Founder and Principal.
